Zoo Wednesday

Some dear family friends of ours invited us to join them for a day at the zoo on Wednesday....
Those penguins in the back are made entirely out of Lego's. There were Lego animals on exhibit all throughout the zoo. And Trever used his map to guide us all day.
The boys got to go on all sorts of fun rides, thanks to our friends' deluxe zoo pass.

Nathan's favorite ride was the horse ride. He was very upset when they tried to take him off.
Trever loved the horse ride, too.

Nathan was happier once they got to ride on the fun zoo train.

And then, he was completely satisfied after one more ride on a cute pony.

Trever felt like a real cowboy.

They would have stayed in the goats' pen all day, if I had let them.

But we just had to ride those cool camels!

Here's some monkeys made out of Lego's.

And here's a goofy girl feeding the lorakeets. This was my favorite part!

Trever loved it, too....
But Nathan was a bit sceptical.

This was the largest Lego animal. It took 95,000 Lego's to construct this polar bear!

Silly Monkeys!
My conclusion:
1 Wednesday + 1 Zoo = 2 Happy Boys!

With all of those live animal rides, that looks like the best zoo ever! And your blog is one of the best places to get ideas for fun activities :)

That is so cool! Those Lego statues are amazing. And your boys are so funny. I think that deluxe pass paid for itself from the looks on their faces. Animal rides sound so fun!
