Savings & Investments 101

As Trever has grown older, we've been letting him earn money by doing simple household chores, such as cleaning up toys, fixing his bed, or helping me with dishes and other bigger tasks. Usually, he does enough to earn a dollar within a few days and then wants to go straight to the Dollar Store. But I wanted to teach him the value of saving. So after a couple months of dilligent earning and saving, Trever got to reap the rewards of his efforts today.

Holy cow! 16 dollars! That takes some serious patience for such a little guy. I am so proud of him! Good job helping him learn about saving money. You are such a cute Mommy. :)
