Our State Fair....

Is a Great State Fair.....
One of my favorite Idaho traditions is visiting the Eastern Idaho State Fair. I love everything about it and I couldn't wait to take our boys this year.
The only animals we ever saw in Philly were squirrels and zoo animals, so the boys love seeing farm animals....and the best part is--they can actually pet them. So we had to visit the livestock barns first.

We also watched the Draft Horse Pull Contest....those horses are SO big and SO strong! Some of the horse teams pulled up to 6 tons of weight!!!!! Incredible!!!

And Trever was dying to try his strength on the Bucking Bull! He's becoming quite the little cowboy!

Nathan was too small to ride the bull, but was just as happy as can be to have a ride on the coin-op Galloping Horse.

I took so many pictures of the boys with animals, since they have SO much fun with them, but we also enjoyed walking through the many buildings full of local artwork, photography, needlework, as well as businesses.

We listened to live music and watched a live entertainment hypnotist (LOL!), and had lots of GREAT fair food.....
Gigantic "Tiger Ear" Scones,

Colossal Smoked Turkey Legs,
And Delicious Huckleberry Ice Cream! Yum!
~
Walking away from the fair, Nathan jumped into the air and exclaimed: "This is the best day ever!" And Trever went on and on about his famous bull ride.
Needless to say, they had a fantastic time, and so did I.

LOL, cute! Now Nathan can have a best day ever every year! What adorable boys you have. We also went to the State Fair this year, Oakley loved the animals. Oh, to be a kid again! Although, getting to watch them is just as fun :)
