Just outside of town, down by the river, there's a lovely little nature preserve that we love to sneek away to and enjoy a slower pace of life. Since our summer has been so busy, we decided that was just the place to spend our afternoon on the 4th of July. So we packed a picnic, loaded the kids in the car and spent a simple summer day, watching the clouds go by...
It. Was. Perfect.
